Room was noisy from the road, yet the suite was cozy and spacious.

Wonderful and absolutely fantastic breakfast at the Bakery; welcoming staff. Historic building and modern and spotless rooms with fireplaces. Great and amazing location in a local area, just next door to the town ' square' of Dorset, and the Dorset Inn for dinner.

Charming central location near the shops in Manchester, the tavern, and the coast. I thoroughly enjoyed the room, it was modern and included with a fireplace and windows overlooking a lovely green, for example.

We enjoyed a cozy night here and especially loved sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace while playing board games. The garden area and the inviting sitting room made it a great chill spot after a long day. The breakfast was tasty, though it could’ve been served a tad warmer. 😊

The Dorset Inn was a perfect getaway for our family! The Family Suite was spacious and had a cozy sitting area where we could relax and spend quality time together. The staff was friendly and always went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options.

There were no play areas for kids.

Our family loved exploring the nearby state park, where we had a fantastic picnic by the lake and the kids enjoyed the playground. The large rooms easily accommodated our group, and the dining experience was a highlight with delicious meals that catered to everyone's tastes.

Loved the cozy vibe of the Dorset Inn. The breakfast options were fantastic with unique specials each day. Staff treated me like family, especially at the front desk. The room size was perfect for just the two of us, though we noticed some road noise from Route 30. The tavern dinners were delicious, and the bartender, Tom, was a pleasure to chat with. The setup felt very homey and cute, especially during the stormy weekend. One downside was our dining experience in the main dining room. Food arrived a bit cold and service lagged due to a large table nearby. Still, breakfast at the café made up for it. I'll be back again without a doubt, but might request a room on the quieter side next time.

The historic charm swept me off my feet, with beautiful decor that was just like stepping back in time. The dining experience was really good, with gourmet dishes like filet mignon that make your taste buds dance! Every breakfast was a good surprise with local ingredients, like the scrumptious blueberry pancakes I couldn't get enough of.

We had a fantastic stay in a lovely king room, enjoying the amazingly friendly service and the convenient access to the Dorset Farmers Market, just a quick stroll away, made our weekend even more good.

We explored the beautiful local scenery and visited the playhouse, fantastic. The rooms were cozy, and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was included and was a great way to start our day. Just a heads-up, the stairs can be steep, so keep that in mind for anyone who might have trouble with them.

The only downside was that our room was a bit small, a little cramped for hanging out together.

Recommend for a weekend rest

Cozy room, friendly staff, where the excellent breakfast at the cafe featured delicious daily specials and the hotel offered convenient amenities like free parking and a lovely bar/lounge area.

The rooms at The Dorset Inn are inviting and have open windows and private baths. They also have phone and email access. The breakfast at the inn is wonderful and the meals offered have a great variety. The location of the inn in Dorset, Vermont, is amazing and great, being next door to the town. The staff is very friendly.
